Yes. A sealer locks in whatever is underneath it, so dirt, algae, oil or moisture will show through and shorten its life. The slab also has to be completely dry: 24 hours minimum in Northeast Ohio summer humidity, around 12 hours in drier spring and fall weather. Most clean and seal jobs are two visits.
